Necklace o’ the Day stands in for ties. That’s Grandma Anderson’s likeness, on her 90th Birthday cake– complete with the obscured glass lens over her missing eye. And there’s Mom, standing with Dad’s mom, Zola. These tough, fabulous women taught me tons about being a decent human being. I was driving Mom recently, listening to P!NK’s song, “WILD HEARTS CANT BE BROKEN.” She loved the lines, “There’s not enough rope to tie me down./There’s not enough tape to shut this mouth.” Sounds exactly like these ladies, eh? 💐🍓
My Brother Is Mother Of The Year
Bow Ties o’ the Day send praise and gratitude to mothers and caregivers of mothers. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing Mom, I’m sure you consider yourself touched by effervescence, humor, and charity. She’s good people. Since she decided to break her hip almost a year ago, she moved from Delta to St. George, where she lives with my brother and his wife– Ron and Marie. I celebrate them today. They are the exact caregivers Mom needs to have mothering her right now. Thanks, bro. 👑 👑 👑
