Tie/Cravat o’ the Day is helping me chill out after our dog adoption disappointment. This might not work for you, but when I’m a bit down, I simply throw on a shiny, blue tuxedo coat. Add to that a loud, flower lapel pin and a wiener dog pocket square, and there’s no way I can wallow in the wild what-might-have-been. FYI I bought my first tuxedo jacket in SLC, at the D.I. in Sugarhouse, in 1984. It was dirty white, and it cost $1. I was hooked. 🤵
Even Bow Tie Was Sad
Santa dogs present Bow Tie o’ the Day. Today, we drove to The Humane Society to adopt a pal for Skitter. We saw Elsa, a 12-year-old lab online, and we thought she might fit into our family. Anyhoo… We learned Elsa needs to be an only dog. She is sweet, but no longer likes to be bothered with other mutts in her home. I am teary about us not being the right family for her. Her eyes looked at me like my Araby’s eyes always did.
