Tie o’ the Day is a perfect example of how ties can help us in our times of need. If you can’t find your scarf, grab a tie. I selected a perfect tie for my writer self! I’m old school when it comes to writing early drafts of whatever project I’m working on, so I write mostly in notebooks. But I am inseparable from the laptop too. I never learned to type, but I can hunt-and-peck my words with the best o’ the hunters-and-peckers. 💻 🐔

When I’m on the manic side of my bipolarity, my head runs circles around odd things. How it started: I figured that since I’m 53, I’ve maybe got 30 years left. Simple enough. But then I was compelled to calculate how many Ties o’ the Day I can wear @ 2 per day for 30 years. The answer: 21,900. So then I obsessed about how I’m going to afford to acquire enough. Then that compelled me to figure out how to house them. And then that got me thinking about…..
