With Suzanne back to work, I got oodles of writing done today. But I had to dig up a photo of her to put on my desk, because I am so lonesome. This is the pic I found, and I’m guessing it’s a yearbook photo from her high school teaching years, in the early 90’s. So Suzanne’s bolo tie is our Tie o’ the Day. Way back then, she had no idea an accessory such as a bolo would eventually make her famous. But it did. 👏🏻
Writing Serious Poetry Will Be Difficult Today
Tie o’ the Day is consoling me in my loneliness. This morning, Suzanne had to return to work after 2 weeks on staycation. No more PJ Days. At least, not until the weekend. I know darn well Suzanne went back to her office cuz she’d had enough of me and the Tie population. She’d be sewing or crocheting away, then look up and see Ties being staged for a post photo. I don’t know how she stood it, but she did. She deserves a trophy from D.I.! 🏆
