Ties o’ the Day close the season appropriately for the Christmas neckwear. I think they offer the same message: we should believe. Whether we believe in Santa, or Jesus, or both, or neither, we need to carry belief with us. For me, belief is an attitude—a way of moving through the world with an open willingness. You don’t always have to believe IN something. You just need to have the believing attitude (a beatitude?). Believe in you, in goodness, in compassion, and in belief itself.
Sooooo Close To Having Seen Them All
Ties o’ the Day are ties o’ many colors. Bow Tie o’ the Day is a snowy beaut. The tie covered in Santa-hatted, red-scarfed dinosaurs is neato—except most of the dinos are upside down. What up with that? Santa is able to ski right off his tie cuz it finally snowed a bunch here last night. The deer with red noses clearly had a few snifters of hot toddies at their jolly party. And then we have HO’s and headless Santa hats. Golly, gee!
Almost Done
Just a couple more posts and the entire holiday tie collection will have been presented to you. No Tie Left Behind, and all that. These Ties o’ the Day are certain I saved the best for the final posts o’ the season. Ties might be right, but I don’t judge. I couldn’t live without any of them. And you know dang well, I’ll be pawing through Christmas clearance ties later this week, looking to rescue more. Hope I discover something I don’t already have. Yeah, right. 😜
Rowan Joins Us And The Ties In Celebration
Despite my Tie o’ the Day Scrooge, I am not a Grinch. I do have Grinch pj pants. And Suzanne made me a Grinch flannel quilt. But the fact that I have a zillion Christmas ties proves that I relish the holiday hubbub. In fact, I enjoy it right down to the occasional BAH HUMBUG. Grinching and Scrooging are simply part of the season’s traditions. A good grousing about a long line, an exorbitant price, or not locating the scotch tape does wonders for your Christmas frustrations.
Yeah, But Skitter Raked In Lots Of Dog Chews
Look what Santa left in our Xmas stockings! Since I’m sure you can’t tell which sock is mine, I will clue you in: mine’s the one filled with Ties o’ the Day. Suzanne made a hefty haul of clementines and a bolt of flannel. To those of you who were pulling for Skitter to get a mutt-sibling, that didn’t happen. Santa wanted to leave one for her, but our lone mutt needs all the attention we can give her right now, as she grieves Roxy.
A Post With No Particular Title
Ties o’ the Day have little to say this Christmas morning cuz we’re still tuckered out from our X-mas Eve. We do want to say Happy Christmas. We hope you got what you wished for. And we hope you’re spending your day with the people you love most in the world. We are going back to bed, but throughout the day, we’ll post more pics of the balance of the seasonal of ties.
